Lake Besek House

Middlefield, CT

2002

This new, lakefront home, inspired by the great camps of the Adirondacks, provides a sense of spaciousness within a modest footprint. Local stone and timbers tie it to its site and produce a sense of strength and permanence. It is built with a hybrid system of timber- and platform framing.
